Having worked in the sports industry and NFL for 23 years, Ken's experience is both deep and varied. While having extensive experience in contract negotiations and virtually all asppects necessary to fully serve the interests of professional athletes, Ken is extremely well versed in arbitration, mediation, grievance procedures, and various other legal and business matters that invariably arise during and after a client's playing career. In addition, Ken has advised respected leaders in the NFL and NCAA, including head coaches and executives, helped in cultivating a grass-roots scouting combine development program which is now part of the NFL, and for three years was a scouting and player development consultant to a professional team. Prior to joining Octagon in 2001, Ken was a business partner of Ray Anderson (current NFL Executive VP of Football Operations) as they established and operated for nearly 15 years a highly successful sports agency, AR Sports. Prior to graduating from Santa Clara University Law School, Ken wa an All-California Division I athlete, and a high school and collegiate summer league coach. Ken works in our San Francisco, CA office.
