Ken Landphere


An All-State high school catcher and All-Peninsula linebacker in Mountain View, CA, before playing baseball at San Diego State University. After transferring to San Jose State University to obtain a degree in Advertising, worked as a copy writer for several San Francisco advertising firms. During that time coached varsity football and baseball at Awalt High School (CA), and later graduated from Santa Clara University Law School. In 1988 joined AR Sports, an athlete management firm founded by Ray Anderson, specializing in the representation of NFL players and coaches. In 1994 he became a partner in the firm. Effective June 30, 2001, AR sports merged with Octagon where Ken serves as the Director of the Coaches Division, working in the Walnut Creek office.
